Architecture
A client-side single-page app. The invoice is modelled as a structured object in the browser and rendered to PDF on the client, so sensitive billing data never leaves the user's device.
Totals and tax are derived from line items with pure calculation functions, keeping the on-screen preview and the exported PDF perfectly in sync.
Business details and the logo persist in local storage so repeat invoicing does not require re-entry.
